Chilli Cheese Toast Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
- Sandwich Bread - 6 slices
- Butter - 4 tbsp
- Red Chili - 2-3 small or green chili, finely chopped
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Cheese - 200 gms processed cheese grated or cheese slices
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves or 1 tsp garlic powder
- Red Chili Flakes - 1 tsp
- Coriander Leaves - as required for garnish
- Red Chili Flakes - as required for garnish
Directions:
In a plate, place 4 bread slices. Apply soft butter generously over the bread.
Place the chopped red chili over the bread slices.
Sprinkle some salt and the grate the processed cheese on top of the slices.
Add the garlic and red chili flakes on top. Add grate some more cheese on top.
Place the bread slices on a baking tray or a pizza screen.
Preheat the oven at 200°C in broil mode for 10 minutes. And bake the chilli cheese toast for 2 minutes.
After one minute of cooking rotate the baking tray, so that everything is evenly cooked. Once done remove and allow it to cool.
Preheat a pan and place the bread slice inside, cover the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes over low flame.
After 3 minutes the chilli cheese toast will be ready, in this type of cooking you would not get the brown colour on top, but the toast will be evenly cooked.
To Serve:
Sprinkle some red chili flakes on top. Slice it in half, diagonally.
Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves Serve the hot Chilli Cheese Toast as a quick snack.
Notes:
You need to softened butter and you can use garlic powder if you do not have fresh garlic handy.
Cooking the chilli cheese toast on the pan, will evenly cook from the bottom and cooking it in the oven will evenly cook the top.
